The Nam by Fiona Banner. Added by Stephen Bury, artist-curator-writer

Epic artist’s bookwork from the height of the “Britart Era” ‘90’s, whereby Fiona Banner adapted her art practice to the published book’s page. Namely, overwhelming lingual and optical force-fields generated by non-stop unbroken detailed descriptions of everything happening and seen in a specific film. Theres much more than “only” the obvious action and image. Location, scenery, wardrobe, props, production, continuity, shortcomings etc. At very least a challenge to even just attempt reading in extracts or actual entirety.
