METALIBRARY

As part of ATML on-going International Book Art project Mitrentse performs a series of METALIBRARY interactive and participatory floor based installations, physically experienced by the audience as site -specific interventions where audiences bring and share their favourite books or the books they want to ‘save ‘ in case of extinction of Libraries. These Metalibrary performances are commissioned by selected Libraries, Art Galleries , Art Festivals and Educational Centres in UK and Europe. To date ATML Volumes and METALIBRARY  have been presented at TATE MODERN , London, IFLA conference , International Federation of Libraries Association – Concert Hall , Athens, A.Antonopoulou.Art  Gallery Athens , Lacey Contemporary Gallery, London (in association with A BOOK TO READ Charity ) , Nadine Feront Gallery Brussels, THE HEMPEL ArtWorkSpace, London , Mitte Gallery Spain , Jewish Museum of Greece,  International Book Fair /MIET – MOMUS collaboration, Greece, Trinity London, the Library of Philosophy & History University of Barcelona, at Departure foundation London ,The Women’s Art Library Special Collections, Goldsmiths University Library and at Coastal Currents Art Festival Hastings.
